Amanda Blankenship - Remnant (CCM)

Amanda Blankenship has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Remnant. The message is simple and clear: "God's remnant is rising!" They are gathering for kingdom purposes; calling out for Fresh Wind and Fresh Fire to Consume us! Lord, “make your messengers into winds of the Spirit, and all your ministers become flames of fire!”  - Psalm 104:4 During a song review, we listen (often with our eyes closed) and feel what the song is doing for us. What emotion does the song evoke in us? Music and lyrics: How do they complement one another? This song is the perfect song to start your weekend with praise and joy! Amanda created a song that evokes an urgency, an army on the move, a call and response... You can almost feel the Spirit of the Lord waking us up and consuming us. Music and lyrics work perfectly together. There's something magical about the drums, as if praise is roaring like thunder. Amanda's voice sounding above the drums to call people and

Maria Bencic - Le dodi

Maria Bencic releases a unique genre of worship songs with lyrics inspired by the "Song of Songs”. Her latest song 'Le dodi', is a reference to Song of Songs 6:3a. For centuries, many phrases from King Solomon's Song of Songs have been used at weddings. Maria relates this particular phrase (L'Dodi - or better yet in full: "Ani L’Dodi V’Dodi Li") to her relationship with Christ. The tones are produced by a single harp. English and Hebrew, together with Maria's old-time singing style, produce a sound that is reminiscent of ancient music. Lyrics: Le dodi Le dodi Oh Le dodi My beloved My lips on your royal feet Lean my head at your chest Le dodi Your royalness makes me shiver Yeshua of Nazareth For you and only you I give myself away Le dodi Le dodi Oh le dodi My beloved Knees bow low Heart fly high Up to him whom my soul loves Le dodi Yeshua Ha Mashiach For I am my beloveds and my beloved is mine Le dodi Le dodi Yeshua my beloved You can listen to the tr

Lolita Moore - Loved (Gospel)

Lolita Moore releases her album, LOVED, at a time when positivity might be all you need to survive. Lolita uses her positive vibe and outgoing energy to appeal to the masses through the influence of indie-pop music. Not only does she want to bring everyone together, but also find a path of solidarity with them. With her songs, she seems to range from the negatives to the positives of this change. Beginning with 'LOVED', Lolita Moore infuses the proceedings with her own unique sound. “One act of kindness is all it takes, to help a fellowman feel good enough to make it through another day,” sings Lolita, in a song that explicitly tells us that everybody wants to be loved. Harmonies of the church choir tie together vocals, effects, and harmonica in the song.  You can listen to the track on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/2J2C6j5eHP2Wsm8I2NxWfY Here is a link to the video on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23vDuQtCfBE Would you like to hear more Gospel music?
