Kali Joy has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Sand. Kali shares: "I wrote Sand last summer after I was in a worship service where they read several verses from Psalm 139. The verses immediately captured my imagination in a way that they never had before. The passage says that God's thoughts, if we were to count them, outnumber the grains of sand. That is insane to me! That God thinks of you and of me more than we can even comprehend. He knew us before we were even born, because he created us. And he also believes in us enough that he's willing to patiently walk with us as we become all that he created us to be. I was raised in the church, but I think as is the case with many people who are raised in the church it is much easier to know about God instead of actually knowing him personally. Just like Lauren Daigle.   Lauren Daigle made Billboard history with her song "You Say." It was at the top of the Hot Christian Charts for a record 100 weeks. Part of what makes the song work so well is how the chorus starts. She starts by repeating the same note and rhythm. That's it. No, seriously...that's the whole technique. "You say I am loved..." "You," "Say" and "I" are all the exact same note and the exact same length. This technique is used in lots of other #1 Songs, in different styles of music, and different time periods. Sometimes it's a repetition of the note, but the rhythm changes. Sometimes it's a repetition of the rhythm, but the melody changes. But one thing is certain... Xandria Cross has released her latest Christian Hip Hop (CHH) track called Take Your Medicine. Xandria is a 19-year-old from Knoxville, Tennessee. She has been writing songs for as long as she can remember. She graduated early from high school at the age of 16, in order to pursue a career as a full-time artist.
