Sylvia and the Sibs has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Twinkling Light. The release date was based on when the song was listened to by more than just our family and friends. It started playing on Christian Music On The Horizon radio on April 13th. However, it did not get on Spotify until May 1st. The song was written and composed by Nohemi Brewer's 12 year old daughter, Sylvia, who's been writing songs with her siblings during the COVID-19 quarantine. Twinkling Light is an original Christmas song. In Sylvia's own words: "The song is truly inspired through the Holy Spirit. The lyrics depict all the elements of the manger scene. The three kings and their gifts, the angels, the animals, the star, and the baby King. The chorus describes how the star's light shines onto Jesus providing Him a night light. Social media companies must do more to stop online abuse. That is why this weekend we are coming together with many organizations to boycott social media and demand change. We are switching off our Facebook, and Twitter accounts until 11.59 pm on Monday 3 May. Nor will we be posting any news on our website during the boycott. Why are we boycotting social media? We want to demonstrate our collective anger at the constant abuse on social media received by people across the world, which goes without any real-world consequences for perpetrators. We know that a boycott alone will not eradicate the scourge of online discriminatory abuse, which is why we will continue to take proactive steps to call for change. We will not stop challenging social media companies until we see enough progress. What change do we want to see? We are asking for significant action from social media companies, including: Apply preventative filtering and blocking measures to stop discriminatory abuse from being sent
