Stephen writes: 'There is a question we struggle with; do I go after my own plans or the ones God has for my life? He already knows our longings, fears, and frustrations. We can bring them all to Him. The future He desires for our lives isn’t just good for Him, but its overwhelmingly good for us as well. God is the very source of goodness, we literally can’t have something good without Him. When we wrote the song Plans, it was a declaration of trust in the Lord’s good and beautiful plan for our individual lives, and that ultimately the best part of that plan is getting to be with Him.'

Many Christians will say, 'yes, I know that', but the truth of the matter is that speaking His name is a faith-driven force that is often overlooked as we go through our day-to-day activities.  This song gently reminds us that the truth of Jesus can overpower any lie we face, and reassures us of the freedom we find in Him.
