Michelle Martin - Fallow Ground (CCM)

Michelle Martin - Fallow Ground
On Friday, June 10, Michelle Martin shared new music with this track titled 'Fallow Ground'. We are happy to be able to share the song with you. The official audio can be heard below.

Michelle shares: "I’m so excited!! This song has lived in my brain for over a year and I never thought it would see the light of day. I can’t wait to share this message with all of you…

I honestly didn’t think I’d ever release music again. To be candid, I didn’t want to! Being sick changed me in some interesting ways…by the end of 2021 all I wanted to do was delete my social media, go off the grid as much as possible, and hide away in the woods with my pets and plants.

I was also really struggling with how much self-promotion I was seeing in the Christian music industry, and if I’m honest when I did venture back onto socials I had to unfollow or mute quite a few accounts. There’s a fine line between marketing and manipulation and my heart just grew weary of all the “gimmicks.” I began to feel gross about all of it and wasn’t sure if I wanted any part anymore.

And yet, here I am. It’s taken some time, but God has been rebuilding my perception of calling, stewardship, and ministry. I’m not here to get noticed, follow a formula, or exhaust myself with fleshly striving. I don’t want to obsess about the number of streams or views. Frankly I no longer have the energy for it! I felt like my instructions from the Lord were simple…release music in a way that’s sustainable, natural, and fun.

The first of a series of monthly songs is yours, if you want it. 😉 It’s different than anything I’ve released before and I have NO idea what “category” it fits into, and that makes me happy. It was a spontaneous song the Lord gave me to release as seed in the ground, so I’m ready to sow and leave the rest to Him."

“Sow for yourselves righteousness;
Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the Lord,
Till He comes and rains righteousness on You.”
- Hosea 10:12

Brandon Lake - Praise You Anywhere (CCM)

'Praise You Anywhere' by Brandon Lake is a powerful anthem that encourages us to turn to praise in every season of life. No matter the circumstances we face, choosing to praise God will shift our perspective and ignite faith within us. The lyrics of the song remind us that in the midst of darkness, fire, and challenges, we can dance, sing, and praise God. We are called to worship even when it doesn't make sense and to boldly face the giants that stand before us. The song emphasizes the power of praising God in the highest, acknowledging His worthiness of all our praise. Brandon Lake's heartfelt message resonates with the reality that there are times when we find ourselves in prisons and battles. However, even in those moments, we can cry out to heaven, stand firm, and worship with our hands held high. The song encourages us to trust that God will bring us through, and in response, we will praise Him anywhere. The bridge of the song beautifully highlights God's faith

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender: Embracing the Promise in Prayer

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender is about how powerful it is to speak the name of Jesus. Many Christians will say, 'yes, I know that', but the truth of the matter is that speaking His name is a faith-driven force that is often overlooked as we go through our day-to-day activities.  This song gently reminds us that the truth of Jesus can overpower any lie we face, and reassures us of the freedom we find in Him. It's like having a conversation with your heart and reminding it of hope.  But there is more to this song. It expands on the promises that Jesus made about faith - especially the faith that can move mountains. I have to admit that I have doubts whether my faith can move mountains… I know I still have a way to grow in that. Thankfully, we don't need to to have mastered that level of faith before we see the effects of speaking His name.  Part of the lyrics refer to the passage, 'When you ask, it will be given unto you'. What does that mean? Anythin
