Bryan & Katie Torwalt - Wouldn't It Be Like You - Live At TRIBL Night (CCM)

Bryan & Katie Torwalt - Wouldn't It Be Like You - Live At TRIBL Night
Bryan & Katie Torwalt has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Wouldn't It Be Like You - Live At TRIBL Night.

Katie & Bryan Torwalt  explain: “'Wouldn’t It Be Like You' was written after a lot of conversations and a deep dive into the Gospels. We were amazed at how often people either completely missed Jesus, or expected Him to be different than He was. He didn’t fit the religious leaders’ narrative for what the Messiah should look like and even His disciples, who were convinced that He was the Messiah, expected Him to take up arms and lead a revolution.

"Instead, He healed the sick, set people free, spent time with the outcasts, welcomed the children, ate with the tax collectors, and in the ultimate shock; He died and then rose from the dead! His Kingdom looked different than they expected, and even different than they wanted it to be at times, but in the end, so much better."

LYRICS:

Thought I had You figured out
So sure I knew exactly how You'd move
Thought my Savior was coming with a sword in His hand

To my surprise, He came as a child

And wouldn't it be like You
To be different than we thought
Different than we want
But better
You're better

O, wouldn't it be like You
To be different than we thought
Different than we want
But better
You're better

They left my Savior in a tomb
Hope was lost and the doubt was breaking through
When You broke the bread
I saw the holes in Your hands
How did I not see, Son of God yet Son of Man

O, wouldn't it be like You
To be different than we thought
Different than we want
But better
You're better

O, wouldn't it be like You
To be different than we thought
Different than we want
But better
O, You're better

(He's better) He's better
He's better
He's better, Lord
You're better
You're better
You're better than we thought
Trying to imagine Lord

'Cause You're better
You're better, yes You are
You're better
You're better
You're better than my friends (You're better)
You're better (You're better)
Help me

So, help me be like Mary
Laid down, pouring out
And I won't miss You in a crowd
'Cause I love Your voice
And I know the sound
Jesus if it's You
On the water, in the cloud
I'll be the first one to walk out
'Cause I love Your voice
And I know the sound

So, help me be like Mary
Laid down, pouring out
And I won't miss You in a crowd
'Cause I love Your voice
And I know the sound
Jesus if it's You
On the water, in the cloud
I'll be the first one to walk out
'Cause I love Your voice
And I know the sound

And wouldn't it be like You
To be different than we thought
Different than we want
But better (sing back You're better)
You're better

And wouldn't it be like You
To be different than we thought
Different than we want
But better
You're better (just sing You're better)

Mary You're better than (You're better)
You're better
You're better Mary (You're better)
Than I am (You're better)
(You're better)
You're better

You're better
(You're better) You're better
(You're better) You're better
(You're better) You're better
(You're better) Say Halleluja
You're able (You're better)
Hmmm-m-m- (You're better)

Hold on
Don't grow tired
Don't give up
He's better
Hold on
Don't grow tired
Don't give up
He's better

Hold on
Don't grow tired
Don't give up
He's better
Hold on
Don't grow tired
Don't give up (come on!)
Don't give up, no!

Hold on
Don't grow tired
Don't give up
He's better
Hold on
Don't grow tired
Don't give up
He's better

Hold on
Don't grow tired
Don't give up
He's better
Hold on
Don't grow tired
Don't give up
He's better

He's better, He's better, He's better (I promise you tonight that)
He's better, He's better, He's better
He's better, He's better, He's better
He's better, He's better, He's better
He's better

I can promise you that tonight
He's better, He's better
I put my money on that tonight
'Cuz He's better
We can't exaggerate the goodness of God
He is better
I promise you that tonight
He's better
We sing Wouldn't it

And wouldn't it be like You
To be different than we thought
Different than we want
But better
Better

And wouldn't it be like You
To be different than we thought
Different than we want
But better

Brandon Lake - Praise You Anywhere (CCM)

'Praise You Anywhere' by Brandon Lake is a powerful anthem that encourages us to turn to praise in every season of life. No matter the circumstances we face, choosing to praise God will shift our perspective and ignite faith within us. The lyrics of the song remind us that in the midst of darkness, fire, and challenges, we can dance, sing, and praise God. We are called to worship even when it doesn't make sense and to boldly face the giants that stand before us. The song emphasizes the power of praising God in the highest, acknowledging His worthiness of all our praise. Brandon Lake's heartfelt message resonates with the reality that there are times when we find ourselves in prisons and battles. However, even in those moments, we can cry out to heaven, stand firm, and worship with our hands held high. The song encourages us to trust that God will bring us through, and in response, we will praise Him anywhere. The bridge of the song beautifully highlights God's faith

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender: Embracing the Promise in Prayer

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender is about how powerful it is to speak the name of Jesus. Many Christians will say, 'yes, I know that', but the truth of the matter is that speaking His name is a faith-driven force that is often overlooked as we go through our day-to-day activities.  This song gently reminds us that the truth of Jesus can overpower any lie we face, and reassures us of the freedom we find in Him. It's like having a conversation with your heart and reminding it of hope.  But there is more to this song. It expands on the promises that Jesus made about faith - especially the faith that can move mountains. I have to admit that I have doubts whether my faith can move mountains… I know I still have a way to grow in that. Thankfully, we don't need to to have mastered that level of faith before we see the effects of speaking His name.  Part of the lyrics refer to the passage, 'When you ask, it will be given unto you'. What does that mean? Anythin
