Deonte Hall - Favor (CHH)

Deonte Hall - Favor
Deonte Hall has released a Christian Hip Hop (CHH) track called Favor.

"Favor" is a fun turn up anthem type of song that talks about the blessings of God, and how Gods favor will put people in positions they don't even qualify for, with the bible reference from Genesis 37:3 In the song "Deonte" talks about how he has a coat of many colors like Joseph" and Porsha Love goes in on her verse, as usual, talking about how people see a difference in her life because of Gods favor.

Lyrics:

Favor, favor, favor, favor all up over me
Catch me rocking with da Lord like I'm supposed to be
I was down but now I'm up they finna notice me
Dripping sauce cuz I got dat favor over

Favor, favor, favor, favor all up over me
Catch me rocking with da Lord like I'm supposed to be
I was down but now I'm up they finna notice me
Dripping sauce cuz I got dat favor over

I'm coming straight out the gutter shout out to all of my brothers
Got me feeling like I'm Joseph with this coat of many colors
I got that favor I'm chosen I thank the Lord for promotion
Told the Pharaoh let my people go
And I'm just trying to free them like Moses yeah yeah yeah yeah
I got that favor all over me
Rock with the Lord like I'm supposed to be
I eat that word like some groceries
They overlooked me but now that I'm up they go notice me

Holy Ghost take a look at the drip
Like phew I be working my wrist
Unashamed and we repping the Lord
They ain't never seen a Christian do it like this
Dripping the sauce with the flavor
Given the praise to my Savior
Tell em bout Jesus Christ cuz it ain't nobody greater
Dripping the sauce with the flavor
Giving the praise to my Savior
I got all this I got all this I got all this favor yeah yeah

Favor, favor, favor, favor all up over me
Catch me rocking with da Lord like I'm supposed to be
I was down but now I'm up they finna notice me
Dripping sauce cuz I got dat favor over

Favor, favor, favor, favor all up over me
Catch me rocking with da Lord like I'm supposed to be
I was down but now I'm up they finna notice me
Dripping sauce cuz I got dat favor over

Ms Love, they be like what's good something bout you different
I'm guessing it's that favor got your girl on glisten
One time for the most high, yeah rep it up for my King yeah
I don't need no new bodies I'm riding out with my team yeah
I don't got nothing to prove yeah
I do not care what you do yeah yeah
Tell em it's me and my crew we do not know how to lose yeah yeah

Say-say a prayer for the lost ones locked in the penitentiary
Rip to the fairy tales everything ain't really what is meant to be
Everything ain't really what is meant to be
Thanking God for the truth yeah
How I got a whole lot to say tell them lock me up in that Booth yeah
Tell that dude with the lineup stop hitting my lineup
'Cuz I am on a new level Everest climb up

Favor, favor, favor, favor all up over me
Catch me rocking with da Lord like I'm supposed to be
I was down but now I'm up they finna notice me
Dripping sauce cuz I got dat favor over

Favor, favor, favor, favor all up over me
Catch me rocking with da Lord like I'm supposed to be
I was down but now I'm up they finna notice me
Dripping sauce cuz I got dat favor over

Rhett Walker - Man on the Middle Cross (CCM)

Rhett Walker's CCM song, 'Man on the Middle Cross,' is a powerful reflection on the profound impact of God's grace and mercy. The song was inspired by a sermon by Alistair Begg, focusing on the two men crucified alongside Jesus, and the transformative power of Christ's sacrifice. The lyrics vividly describe the scene of three wooden crosses on a hill, with two sinners on either side of Jesus. The first verse expresses the realization that, at times, we all can relate to the sinners on the crosses—feeling guilty, regretful, and undeserving of God's love and forgiveness. The chorus beautifully captures the experience of both sinners, acknowledging that one has been on the left, filled with guilt and regret, while the other has been on the right, always seeking conflict and thinking forgiveness is beyond reach. The overwhelming theme throughout the song is the recognition of God's grace and mercy, which are not earned or deserved but freely given to all. The br
