Razzie - Only In Church (CHH)

Razzle - Only In Church
Razzie has released a Christian Hip Hop (CHH) track called 'Only In Church'.

Remember you are the temple!
Razzie writes: "'Only In Church' is a song that really hits home for me! In the past, I struggled with Drug Addiction and Excessive Alcohol Abuse, throw a little bit of Mental Health, and that recipe spelled disaster! I used to run to any and everything to solve my problems except one place! The Church! I found hope in Christ and this song shows how important church is to me, but not the building more like my relationship with Him! This song has a different sound than my usual hype tracks!"

Lyrics:

Only in church
Only in church
Only in church
Is where I see my worth
But I am temple
I am temple

How should I start
My mind was falling apart
I was so lost in the dark
End it now
sucide
Don’t ask
How often I thought
Entering Enemy plots
He think he a genius
I seen it
The demons
Just tearing my soul
All apart
Mm
He seen it
That Jesus
Predestined me
Jealously
already set me apart
Mm

I seen the darkest depths
Stepping in the shadows
Noose around my neck
I was at the gallows
weapons didn’t help
Still lost all the battles
Approaching second death
The body isn’t final
Yea

I talk about Jesus a lot
If I didn’t talk Jesus
Then u wudnt see this
I’d probably be in A box

Only in church
Only in church
Only in church
Is where I see my worth
But I am temple
I am temple

I was hopeless
I was stranded

Addiction had me
Felt abandoned

Surrounded by smiling faces
Ppl faking
crack a smile to try to manage
Drugs n alcohol
a bandage
That don’t last long
Just helps u fall
Go find a light
find the answers

Only in church
Only in church
Only in church
Is where I see my worth
But I am temple
I am temple

I am the temple
I’m higher den
All of my problems
My diaphragm
Is filled with breath of life
Of what he sacrificed

All my sins yea
He died for them

That’s why I’m working
I’m working these verses
Not talking boiut rapping
The word is
My spiritual vitamins
My diet cleansed
Yea
gotta fight the fight
N I contend
Yea
Bought with a price
N I ain’t spend
Mhm
No strings attached
No violins
Only trumpets
Only thunders
Holy coming
second coming
Holy coming
Demons shudder
Hold each other
7 vials
Holy judgement
Thats a loaded subject
God is with me
U Can’t tell me nothing
Come as you are
N my shirt ain’t tucked in

Sarah Kroger, Nathan Jess - Belovedness - Live (CCM)

Are you tired of feeling inadequate and alone in your struggles? Have a look at Sarah Kroger's 'Belovedness,' a powerful ballad that reminds us of our worth as children of God. Initially released on Kroger's sophomore album, 'Light,' during the peak of a global healthcare crisis, 'Belovedness' quickly found a following among those battling mental health challenges. The revisited live version, recorded in a barn-turned-studio in the UK countryside, offers a sweet, intimate take on the song, featuring Northern Irish singer-songwriter Nathan Jess on vocals. Kroger wrote the song during a period of personal growth, as she discovered the truth of her identity through reading Henri Nouwen's 'Life of The Beloved.' The lyrics remind us to let go of our past mistakes and the lies we've been told, and to embrace the truth of our belovedness. This song is not only for the Christian community, it is also for anyone struggling with their identity, loo

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender: Embracing the Promise in Prayer

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender is about how powerful it is to speak the name of Jesus. Many Christians will say, 'yes, I know that', but the truth of the matter is that speaking His name is a faith-driven force that is often overlooked as we go through our day-to-day activities.  This song gently reminds us that the truth of Jesus can overpower any lie we face, and reassures us of the freedom we find in Him. It's like having a conversation with your heart and reminding it of hope.  But there is more to this song. It expands on the promises that Jesus made about faith - especially the faith that can move mountains. I have to admit that I have doubts whether my faith can move mountains… I know I still have a way to grow in that. Thankfully, we don't need to to have mastered that level of faith before we see the effects of speaking His name.  Part of the lyrics refer to the passage, 'When you ask, it will be given unto you'. What does that mean? Anythin
