Dominic Dema & Liam Thomas - Free (CCM)

Dominic Dema & Liam Thomas - Free
Dominic Dema & Liam Thomas has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Free.

Dominque shares: "I wrote this song in 2008 and didn't release it until 12 years later. In 2008 it was the hope of who I wanted to be, but it finally became a reality in 2019 when I got sober. I finally came to a point in my life where I had to let go, live along spiritual lines, find gratitude and live with humility. Sometimes His power is overwhelming. I was spiritually better, wrote the chorus, and we produced it. It was always intended to be an acoustic revelation. "

Lyrics:

In my awareness I'm steady and I'm sure
the life I leave behind bled with blood that was impure
Exhausted all the tragedy I could no longer endure
on to better days, better days
I've held the cross I hid for years cloaked under regret
Not certain if its powers have begun to heal me yet
Some time ago rebellion almost left me for dead
but I survived, I'm alive

Now I can be me
Now I can be free
Now I can be me
Now I can be free

The reflection in the mirror that once was unkind
Is different than the illusion I used to have in mind
I see the man I wanted to be and I break down and cry
Like a child it's been a while, it's been a while

Now I can be me
Now I can be free
Now I can be me
Now I can be free

Decency has discovered me from galaxies afar
All the times I recognized reaching for the stars
Then my prayers were answered from wherever You are
It's been You guiding me through, guiding me through

Now I can be me
Now I can be free
Now I can be me
Now I can be free

It is a compelling call to immerse oneself in the validation and glory gifted by Jesus, our Savior. As the lyrics cascade from her voice, they etch a poignant, spiritual journey. Brandon Lake - Praise You Anywhere (CCM)

'Praise You Anywhere' by Brandon Lake is a powerful anthem that encourages us to turn to praise in every season of life. No matter the circumstances we face, choosing to praise God will shift our perspective and ignite faith within us. The lyrics of the song remind us that in the midst of darkness, fire, and challenges, we can dance, sing, and praise God. We are called to worship even when it doesn't make sense and to boldly face the giants that stand before us. The song emphasizes the power of praising God in the highest, acknowledging His worthiness of all our praise. Brandon Lake's heartfelt message resonates with the reality that there are times when we find ourselves in prisons and battles. However, even in those moments, we can cry out to heaven, stand firm, and worship with our hands held high. The song encourages us to trust that God will bring us through, and in response, we will praise Him anywhere. The bridge of the song beautifully highlights God's faith

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender: Embracing the Promise in Prayer

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender is about how powerful it is to speak the name of Jesus. Many Christians will say, 'yes, I know that', but the truth of the matter is that speaking His name is a faith-driven force that is often overlooked as we go through our day-to-day activities.  This song gently reminds us that the truth of Jesus can overpower any lie we face, and reassures us of the freedom we find in Him. It's like having a conversation with your heart and reminding it of hope.  But there is more to this song. It expands on the promises that Jesus made about faith - especially the faith that can move mountains. I have to admit that I have doubts whether my faith can move mountains… I know I still have a way to grow in that. Thankfully, we don't need to to have mastered that level of faith before we see the effects of speaking His name.  Part of the lyrics refer to the passage, 'When you ask, it will be given unto you'. What does that mean? Anythin
