Stored In My Heart - A Precious Hope For Wand'ring Sheep (CCM)

Stored In My Heart - A Precious Hope For Wand'ring Sheep
Stored In My Heart has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called A Precious Hope For Wand'ring Sheep.

This song was written by a pastor with a desire to encourage the sheep under His care to find hope and assurance in the Great Shepherd. The song is meant to declare the glorious promises of salvation for all who place their faith in Christ. One old and beloved hymn says ‘prone to wander, Lord I feel it; prone to leave the God I love.’ We all feel that. This modern hymn comes alongside that reality with a greater reality: Jesus pursues, protects, nurtures, and keeps everyone who belongs to Him.

We are happy to share the lyrics with you:

A precious hope for wand'ring sheep
It's not our goodness that redeems
God's love compelled His mercy flow
O'er every failure grace is shown

A precious hope for wand'ring sheep
To turn from sin is to be free
Bid heavy doubts and fears depart
Through holy joy and godward hearts

Not abandoned, not alone
The Good Shepherd holds His own
Eternal life, eternal joy
Jesus our hope, forevermore

A precious hope for wand'ring sheep
The Father's grip will never cease
Our name He calls and bids us come
We hear His voice, He loses none

A precious hope for wand'ring sheep
All Christ died for He will keep
When sinful hearts seem to escape
Still Christ pursues all His who've strayed

Not abandoned, not alone
The Good Shepherd holds His own
Eternal life, eternal joy
Jesus our hope, forevermore

A precious hope for wand'ring sheep
The Spirit's work, He will complete
Our weary souls He seals and holds
Until He brings us safely home

Sarah Kroger, Nathan Jess - Belovedness - Live (CCM)

Are you tired of feeling inadequate and alone in your struggles? Have a look at Sarah Kroger's 'Belovedness,' a powerful ballad that reminds us of our worth as children of God. Initially released on Kroger's sophomore album, 'Light,' during the peak of a global healthcare crisis, 'Belovedness' quickly found a following among those battling mental health challenges. The revisited live version, recorded in a barn-turned-studio in the UK countryside, offers a sweet, intimate take on the song, featuring Northern Irish singer-songwriter Nathan Jess on vocals. Kroger wrote the song during a period of personal growth, as she discovered the truth of her identity through reading Henri Nouwen's 'Life of The Beloved.' The lyrics remind us to let go of our past mistakes and the lies we've been told, and to embrace the truth of our belovedness. This song is not only for the Christian community, it is also for anyone struggling with their identity, loo
