Zoetic - Worth It (CCM)

Zoetic has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Worth It.

Zoetic is a Christian jazz fusion duo whose main mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and to get Christians to think more deeply about their faith. Their usage of gospel chords and jazz harmonies within modern pop production help them stand out from other contemporary Christian artists. They boldly proclaim the gospel in their lyrics and have explored topics such as evangelism under persecution, following the call of Christ no matter the cost, freedom from addiction, controversial passages in the Old Testament, false gospels, and human relationships-- all from a faith-based perspective.

Lyrics:

Stay safe, just stay close
Suppress the voice telling you to grow
A normal life, security
Tempting all the weakest parts of me

I can’t escape this call, so many times I’ve tried
A life of comfort and you’re telling me I have to say goodbye
I needed saving and you were the sacrifice
You never said this would be easy

You are the reason
I won’t look back at yesterdays
Leaving familiar
‘Cause I know that you’re worth it all

What will you make, will this succeed?
My confidence hides my unbelief
You don’t have time, who do you know?
I make my plans just to let them go

Oh
I can’t escape this call, so many times I’ve tried
A life of comfort and you’re telling me it’s time to say goodbye
You ask for everything, you ask for sacrifice
I don’t have much but take my pieces

You are the reason
I won’t look back at yesterdays
Leaving familiar
‘Cause I know that you’re worth

All of the desire I have for admiration
Every fear I’ll never be enough for them

(Oh influence, you’re worth it all
Security, you’re worth it all
Worldly things, you’re worth it all
My suffering, you’re worth it all
The plans I make, you’re worth it all
The breath I take, you’re worth it all)

And all of my dreams
I lay down at the will of the King

(Influence, you’re worth it all
Security, you’re worth it all
Worldly things, you’re worth it all
My suffering)

You are the reason
You are the reason
You are the reason
You are the reason

Influence, you’re worth it all
Security, you’re worth it all
Worldly things, you’re worth it all
My suffering, you’re worth it all
Influence, you’re worth it all
Security, you’re worth it all
Worldly things, you’re worth it all
My suffering, you’re worth it all

Rhett Walker - Man on the Middle Cross (CCM)

Rhett Walker's CCM song, 'Man on the Middle Cross,' is a powerful reflection on the profound impact of God's grace and mercy. The song was inspired by a sermon by Alistair Begg, focusing on the two men crucified alongside Jesus, and the transformative power of Christ's sacrifice. The lyrics vividly describe the scene of three wooden crosses on a hill, with two sinners on either side of Jesus. The first verse expresses the realization that, at times, we all can relate to the sinners on the crosses—feeling guilty, regretful, and undeserving of God's love and forgiveness. The chorus beautifully captures the experience of both sinners, acknowledging that one has been on the left, filled with guilt and regret, while the other has been on the right, always seeking conflict and thinking forgiveness is beyond reach. The overwhelming theme throughout the song is the recognition of God's grace and mercy, which are not earned or deserved but freely given to all. The br
