Sylvia and the Sibs - Wanna Be Heard (CCM)

Sylvia and the Sibs - Wanna Be Heard
Sylvia and the Sibs have released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Wanna Be Heard.

This is Sylvia's song from her upcoming album, "Golden Eggs" to be released in Spring 2022, Lord willing. Based on Mathew 28:19-20, the Sibs were inspired by the Great Commission verses.

Sylvia’s testimony on how she came to the lyrics was a combination of two ideas/experiences. First - she remembered singing in the kids’ choir at church alongside other girls and her microphone was turned “all the way down” according to Sylvia. So she thought to herself in frustration, “I just wanna be heard!”
Second, when she received the melody for the song from the Holy Spirit, she consulted with her siblings as to what else to incorporate into the song besides wanting to be heard. That’s when her brother suggested using the Great Commission’s verses since that was what their church was focused on at the time.
From this, Sylvia and her siblings blended the two ideas together and decided that when it comes to sharing the gospel, we Christians just “wanna be heard!”

LYRICS

Verse 1
I just wanna be heard from the mountains
I wanna be heard from the sea
I wanna sing from the rooftops
I wanna be heard for the King
I love you Lord over everything

Chorus 1 & 2 & 3
Go make disciples
To the ends of the Earth
Go tell the world
We just wanna be heard
Go tell them here
Go tell them there
So says the King
We just wanna be heard

Verse 2
I just wanna be heard from the valley
I wanna be heard I wanna sing
I wanna dance for You Jesus
I wanna be heard by the King of kings
I praise you Lord over everything

Bridge (Repeat x2)
I hear You callin’ my name
I hear You callin’ my name
Whenever You call my name
Jesus

Final Tag
So says the King
We just wanna be heard
Oh I love you Lord over everything!

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender: Embracing the Promise in Prayer

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender is about how powerful it is to speak the name of Jesus. Many Christians will say, 'yes, I know that', but the truth of the matter is that speaking His name is a faith-driven force that is often overlooked as we go through our day-to-day activities.  This song gently reminds us that the truth of Jesus can overpower any lie we face, and reassures us of the freedom we find in Him. It's like having a conversation with your heart and reminding it of hope.  But there is more to this song. It expands on the promises that Jesus made about faith - especially the faith that can move mountains. I have to admit that I have doubts whether my faith can move mountains… I know I still have a way to grow in that. Thankfully, we don't need to to have mastered that level of faith before we see the effects of speaking His name.  Part of the lyrics refer to the passage, 'When you ask, it will be given unto you'. What does that mean? Anythin
