Moving Mountain Worship - How Great Thou Art
Moving Mountain Worship has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called How Great Thou Art.

There's nothing like a good hymn to truly make you feel closer to the Lord. When you sing out those lyrics, it's almost like His strength and love wash over us. And one of the most powerful hymns of all time is 'How Great Thou Art.'

Dale writes: "My love of Old Hymns has grown over this last year, and my heart has turned toward recording new and different versions of several favorites, beginning with the wonderfully inspirational song "How Great Thou Art" which speaks of God's sovereignty."

Lyrics

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Chorus:
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on a Cross, my burdens gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

The Story Behind The Song 'How Great Thou Art'

The British Methodist missionary Stuart K. Hine heard a Russian translation of the German song "O Store Gud" (O God) while on a mission trip in Ukraine in 1931. Hine translated the song into English and added several verses to it. 'And when I think that God, His Son, not sparing, sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in.' -- This is taken from a Russian conversion story in which villagers cried out to God and realized God's love and mercy.

Stuart Hine and his family left Ukraine as famine and World War Two began, and settled in Somerset, Britain, where he continued to work as a missionary to Polish refugees.

Hine was inspired to write the "How Great Thou Art" fourth verse by displaced Russians who experienced great loss and looked forward to reuniting with their loved ones in heaven - "When Christ shall come with shoult of acclamation to take me home, what joy shall fill my heart."

After the publication of the final English version of "How Great Thou Art" in 1949, the song rapidly spread among Britain, Africa, India, and the United States.

Brandon Lake - Praise You Anywhere (CCM)

'Praise You Anywhere' by Brandon Lake is a powerful anthem that encourages us to turn to praise in every season of life. No matter the circumstances we face, choosing to praise God will shift our perspective and ignite faith within us. The lyrics of the song remind us that in the midst of darkness, fire, and challenges, we can dance, sing, and praise God. We are called to worship even when it doesn't make sense and to boldly face the giants that stand before us. The song emphasizes the power of praising God in the highest, acknowledging His worthiness of all our praise. Brandon Lake's heartfelt message resonates with the reality that there are times when we find ourselves in prisons and battles. However, even in those moments, we can cry out to heaven, stand firm, and worship with our hands held high. The song encourages us to trust that God will bring us through, and in response, we will praise Him anywhere. The bridge of the song beautifully highlights God's faith

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender: Embracing the Promise in Prayer

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender is about how powerful it is to speak the name of Jesus. Many Christians will say, 'yes, I know that', but the truth of the matter is that speaking His name is a faith-driven force that is often overlooked as we go through our day-to-day activities.  This song gently reminds us that the truth of Jesus can overpower any lie we face, and reassures us of the freedom we find in Him. It's like having a conversation with your heart and reminding it of hope.  But there is more to this song. It expands on the promises that Jesus made about faith - especially the faith that can move mountains. I have to admit that I have doubts whether my faith can move mountains… I know I still have a way to grow in that. Thankfully, we don't need to to have mastered that level of faith before we see the effects of speaking His name.  Part of the lyrics refer to the passage, 'When you ask, it will be given unto you'. What does that mean? Anythin
