WilliamPeterLee - You are my God (CCM)

WilliamPeterLee has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called "You are my God". The release was delayed due to hospitalization as a result of COVID-19.

A song about thankfulness to God for everything He gives us, the many life lessons we may experience, and the chance to get back up again and start over each time we trip and fall.

Here are the lyrics:

Dear God I thank You for everything
The Earth You made and the air I breathe
Teach me to be helpful to our planet
Treating it with great respect
Your sea, land, and sky are so beautiful
I am thankful for these wonderful things

You are my God
You are my love
You're my creator
You're my destiny
You are my God
You are my love
You're my creator
You're my destiny

Dear God I thank You for everything
For my family and my neighbours
Teach me to be kind to those I see
And forgive those who've wronged me
The love You have given me
I am blessed You have created me

You are my God
You are my love
You're my creator
You're my destiny
You are my God
You are my love
You're my creator
You're my destiny

Guide me my God
Send forth Your Spirit
Fill me with wisdom
Fill me with love
Teach me to learn
We are Your children
We make mistakes
We seek forgiveness

You are my God
You are my love
You're my creator
You're my destiny
You are my God
You are my love
You're my creator
You're my destiny

Rhett Walker - Man on the Middle Cross (CCM)

Rhett Walker's CCM song, 'Man on the Middle Cross,' is a powerful reflection on the profound impact of God's grace and mercy. The song was inspired by a sermon by Alistair Begg, focusing on the two men crucified alongside Jesus, and the transformative power of Christ's sacrifice. The lyrics vividly describe the scene of three wooden crosses on a hill, with two sinners on either side of Jesus. The first verse expresses the realization that, at times, we all can relate to the sinners on the crosses—feeling guilty, regretful, and undeserving of God's love and forgiveness. The chorus beautifully captures the experience of both sinners, acknowledging that one has been on the left, filled with guilt and regret, while the other has been on the right, always seeking conflict and thinking forgiveness is beyond reach. The overwhelming theme throughout the song is the recognition of God's grace and mercy, which are not earned or deserved but freely given to all. The br
