Laura Thompson - Come Home (CCM)

Laura Thompson has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Come Home.

Come Home is the Father’s song; it speaks of extravagant love and grace, calling the Prodigal home no matter where they’ve strayed. It’s a message I know so well, because I’m the prodigal a thousand times over. I hope that God reaches the struggling and broken through this song, that’s my hope.

Lyrics:
When you walked away I stayed
Knowing you would keep walking
And in my love I let you go
but I did not let go
Like a father who longs to comfort his child
So I long to comfort you

I don't care where you've run
I don't care where you've been
I don't care about the mess you've made
I wanna make you clean
And I don't care that you shook your fist in my face
Just come home

Now I see you bound by shame
How I want to release you
Can you find faith to believe
How much I miss you

Like a mother who longs to dry her child's tears
So I long to heal you

I don't care where you've run
I don't care where you've been
I don't care about the mess you've made
I wanna make you clean
And I don't care that you shook your fist in my face
Just come home

And even in the dark
I will search for you
Even though you chose this path
My love still pursues
And even through the night
I will call your name
Till you come home

Just come home

No matter where you are, just come home (4x)

I don't care where you've run
I don't care where you've been
Just come home

Brandon Lake - Praise You Anywhere (CCM)

'Praise You Anywhere' by Brandon Lake is a powerful anthem that encourages us to turn to praise in every season of life. No matter the circumstances we face, choosing to praise God will shift our perspective and ignite faith within us. The lyrics of the song remind us that in the midst of darkness, fire, and challenges, we can dance, sing, and praise God. We are called to worship even when it doesn't make sense and to boldly face the giants that stand before us. The song emphasizes the power of praising God in the highest, acknowledging His worthiness of all our praise. Brandon Lake's heartfelt message resonates with the reality that there are times when we find ourselves in prisons and battles. However, even in those moments, we can cry out to heaven, stand firm, and worship with our hands held high. The song encourages us to trust that God will bring us through, and in response, we will praise Him anywhere. The bridge of the song beautifully highlights God's faith

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender: Embracing the Promise in Prayer

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender is about how powerful it is to speak the name of Jesus. Many Christians will say, 'yes, I know that', but the truth of the matter is that speaking His name is a faith-driven force that is often overlooked as we go through our day-to-day activities.  This song gently reminds us that the truth of Jesus can overpower any lie we face, and reassures us of the freedom we find in Him. It's like having a conversation with your heart and reminding it of hope.  But there is more to this song. It expands on the promises that Jesus made about faith - especially the faith that can move mountains. I have to admit that I have doubts whether my faith can move mountains… I know I still have a way to grow in that. Thankfully, we don't need to to have mastered that level of faith before we see the effects of speaking His name.  Part of the lyrics refer to the passage, 'When you ask, it will be given unto you'. What does that mean? Anythin
