Jason Gray - What I Wish For You (CCM)

Jason Gray has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called What I Wish For You.

This is such a deeply beautiful and sad song. We all want forgiveness but when it comes to giving it to someone else sometimes we are lacking. I hope in the end we all trust Jesus and will all be set free from all these sins that cause so much hurt.

Lyrics:
I hope your heart breaks easily
Cause you’re not afraid to open it for all to see
It gets stronger every time it heals
So I hope you break your heart

I hope you fall down hard enough
That you need the help of a good friend to get back up
‘Cause we all want to know that kind of love
So I hope you fall down hard

That's what I wish for you
What I hope you find
May it all come true
In good time

I hope that failure comes your way
And shows you there’s a limit to your own strength
Til you can’t help but offer other people grace
Yeah I hope that failure comes

That's what I wish for you
What I hope you find
May it all come true
Knowing sometimes good things come from suffering

I hope you can forgive yourself
'Cause if you’re like me you’ll probably cause a lot of hell
Maybe one day you can add me to the list as well
Of what I hope you can forgive

That's what I wish for you
What I hope you find
May it all come true
Child of mine

Rhett Walker - Man on the Middle Cross (CCM)

Rhett Walker's CCM song, 'Man on the Middle Cross,' is a powerful reflection on the profound impact of God's grace and mercy. The song was inspired by a sermon by Alistair Begg, focusing on the two men crucified alongside Jesus, and the transformative power of Christ's sacrifice. The lyrics vividly describe the scene of three wooden crosses on a hill, with two sinners on either side of Jesus. The first verse expresses the realization that, at times, we all can relate to the sinners on the crosses—feeling guilty, regretful, and undeserving of God's love and forgiveness. The chorus beautifully captures the experience of both sinners, acknowledging that one has been on the left, filled with guilt and regret, while the other has been on the right, always seeking conflict and thinking forgiveness is beyond reach. The overwhelming theme throughout the song is the recognition of God's grace and mercy, which are not earned or deserved but freely given to all. The br
