Elian Roman - Honor (CHH)

Elian Roman has released a Christian Hip Hop (CHH) track called Honor.

Elian explains: "This song is meant to inspire people to pursue Honor and do what is right, which comes from following Jesus Himself. It’s not easy, but with His help we can accomplish it."

The lyrics:
This feeling inside of me is making me insane yeah
I struggle with the thought of me being just a lame yeah
It’s a battle how can God look past all of my shame yeah
In my acts I simply just want to honor your name yeah

This feeling inside of me is making me insane yeah
I struggle with the thought of me being just a lame yeah
It’s a battle how can God look past all of my shame yeah
In my acts I simply just want to honor your name yeah

I don’t want fame I want assurance from the one who’s risen
My mind is driving me crazy and it’s way past the speed limit
I want a voice from God but sometimes I know I don’t listen
I need to connect with your spirit

A lot of things my heart desires
But is that connection what God wants to wire
Burning me deep like Im stuck in wildfire
Gotta make sure my emotions won’t fire

What an emotional journey
All this competition feels like Im in a tourney
They judge my acts guess I need an attorney
That’s why I got God He’s given me mercy

I know, that I am not worthy,
God gave the power, not from me
Keeping me from being worldly
Keeping it clean flow is dirty
The motivation is early
The plan he gave me is surely
Fueled by his grace and his mercy

This feeling inside of me is making me insane yeah
I struggle with the thought of me being just a lame yeah
It’s a battle how can God look past all of my shame yeah
In my acts I simply just want to honor your name yeah

I don’t want fame I want assurance from the one who’s risen
My mind is driving me crazy and it’s way past the speed limit
I want a voice from God but sometimes I know I don’t listen
I need to connect with your spirit

Seeing people lose their honor, it’s getting crazy
What’s happened to our vision man, it’s getting hazy
The world is full of hazards, we lost all of the safety
The length away from God, increases on the daily

I cannot let these blockers stop me from making my score
I gotta keep on driving so that I can let them know
That I’ma make my shot even if I fall on the floor
I'm not here to play games I’m here to fight this war

God gave self dominion
I won’t be the devil’s minion yeah
Stating all these facts because I’m out of my opinions yeah
Ain’t aiming for one hundred man I’m aiming for a million yeah
That is the energy lately I’ve been really feeling yeah

Spirt lead me to the path that you have destined me
Do not let my heart blind me from what is meant to be
I will keep running this race like I’m in a Grand Prix
Keep on going till from this world you set me free

This feeling inside of me is making me insane yeah
I struggle with the thought of me being just a lame yeah
It’s a battle how can God look past all of my shame yeah
In my acts I simply just want to honor your name yeah

I don’t want fame I want assurance from the one who’s risen
My mind is driving me crazy and it’s way past the speed limit
I want a voice from God but sometimes I know I don’t listen
I need to connect with your spirit
