Adam Wedd - Blackest Hole (CCM)

Adam Wedd has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Blackest Hole.

Melissa Rieger (the lyricist of this song) shared the following: "I want to share a song, which I wrote with the artist, Adam Wedd. “Blackest Hole” is written from personal experience to raise awareness of severe depression and suicide prevention.
I suffered from severe postpartum depression. I was fortunate to have a lot of support—but it was the toughest time of my life. I remember trying to explain to the doctor that it felt like someone took out everything inside of me and replaced it with a black hole. I had everything anyone could want—and didn’t want to exist.
That feeling has come back over the years. And the more people I’ve spoken with about it, the more I realize I’m far from alone.
There is a stigma when it comes to mental health and we must stop it."

If you are struggling with severe depression and/or thoughts about suicide, then please reach out to people who can listen and help you. You are not alone in this struggle, but sometimes the people around you just don't realize that you are in one of your blackest holes. Pray for the courage to reach out for help. If you don't know where to start, then walk into any church nearby and talk to a pastor/minister and share your fears/thoughts.

You can listen to the track on Spotify:

Later in the day, this track will also be visible in our New Christian Contemporary Music playlists on Spotify, Deezer, Qobuz, and Youtube (provided the track is released on these platforms).
