Loudbrook - Light Cancels Darkness

Loudbrook, consisting of husband and wife team Bryan (writer) and Melissa (singer) Lautenbach has released their brand new 15 song album 'No More Night'.

This album mixes together rock, indie and pop together.

The song more "Light Cancels Darkness" is a real joy to listen to... and I encourage you to also listen to the other songs on the album.

What also makes this album interesting is the fact that the album was funded on Kickstarter to help finish everything and to help re-launch the band Loudbrook through its release. (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1621205076/loudbrook-no-more-night-over-15k-in-21-days)

The songs on this album tell the true story of Bryan and Melissa Lautenbach, of following Jesus Christ out of their personal night, supported by a caring community of friends. Bryan and Melissa believe life is better lived in community with others: to love and be loved back, to be known for who we really are and not for who we may pretend to be. To celebrate joy together and carry each other through the hard times. And sometimes, let's be honest, both the joy and the hard times can take your breath away.

Bryan and Melissa fought challenges they never thought they would have to face, and in the face of everything, they encountered the transformational light of God, who brought them out of their dark night by the blood of Jesus Christ--but they had to believe God.

The overall concept of the album is light. To communicate and play light. Bryan and Melissa believe No More Night is full of God’s heart for you and the world!
"For God rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves." - Colossians 1:13

Brandon Lake - Praise You Anywhere (CCM)

'Praise You Anywhere' by Brandon Lake is a powerful anthem that encourages us to turn to praise in every season of life. No matter the circumstances we face, choosing to praise God will shift our perspective and ignite faith within us. The lyrics of the song remind us that in the midst of darkness, fire, and challenges, we can dance, sing, and praise God. We are called to worship even when it doesn't make sense and to boldly face the giants that stand before us. The song emphasizes the power of praising God in the highest, acknowledging His worthiness of all our praise. Brandon Lake's heartfelt message resonates with the reality that there are times when we find ourselves in prisons and battles. However, even in those moments, we can cry out to heaven, stand firm, and worship with our hands held high. The song encourages us to trust that God will bring us through, and in response, we will praise Him anywhere. The bridge of the song beautifully highlights God's faith

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender: Embracing the Promise in Prayer

'Jesus Name' by Seek and Surrender is about how powerful it is to speak the name of Jesus. Many Christians will say, 'yes, I know that', but the truth of the matter is that speaking His name is a faith-driven force that is often overlooked as we go through our day-to-day activities.  This song gently reminds us that the truth of Jesus can overpower any lie we face, and reassures us of the freedom we find in Him. It's like having a conversation with your heart and reminding it of hope.  But there is more to this song. It expands on the promises that Jesus made about faith - especially the faith that can move mountains. I have to admit that I have doubts whether my faith can move mountains… I know I still have a way to grow in that. Thankfully, we don't need to to have mastered that level of faith before we see the effects of speaking His name.  Part of the lyrics refer to the passage, 'When you ask, it will be given unto you'. What does that mean? Anythin
